Mandisa Moshy Mathe, mostly known as Moshy Mathe, is a South African entrepreneu r, mostly renowned for her workas a social, gender activist, and co-creator of a hugely successful product known as the Wonderbag, for which she received a reward from Climate Change.
She is the founder, Director and Chief Executive of Youth For Survival, a non profit organisation aimed at addressing social and economic development challanges faced by economically disadvantaged communities with special focus on women, children and youth. The organisation operates in four of South Africa's major provinces, namely: Kwa-Zulu Natal, Eastern Cape, Gauteng Province and the North West Province.
(YFS) is a Not-For-Profit Organization that was registered in 2007 with a national footprint. It operates from a head office located in Pretoria, Gauteng. Our branch satellites are as follows:
The organization is aimed at addressing the social and economic development challenges that are faced by the economically disadvantaged communities, especially women, children and the youths, and therefore provides developmental support programmes that are aimed at changing their livelihoods.
The organization is also implementing an Advice Centre, Skills Training, Community Development Programmes and Social Programmes. Community development programmes are targeting households and the unemployed. The aim is to create opportunities and provide resources to allow households who live in poverty to recover or gain access to their own capacity in order to resolve issues in their personal, households, communities and institutional environments. In our community development programme we are involved in various activities aimed at promoting their integration into social networks and access to better living conditions. These approaches are accompanied by employment opportunities and generation of income to enable sustainability.

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF PROJECTS/PROGRAMMES/SERVICES
a) To be a community development centre with advice and referrer offices
b) To provide post-trauma and individual counseling session
c) To render after care services to beneficiaries
d) To inform, educate and capacitate the community about the right and responsibilities pertaining to abuse
e) To refer to relevant institutions and service providers, e.g. shelters and Pro Bono
.f) To facilitate reunification of families
g) To give shelter/accommodation to victims of abuses and crimes.
h) To host anti-teenage pregnancy awareness campaigns and enroll beneficiaries that is willing.
i) To provide statutory services
j) To provide free skills training and entrepreneurial opportunities.
k) To empower victims by having their needs that arose from incident of victimization met satisfactorily.
l) To put DEAR DOLLYS “confidantes” in schools for learners.
m) To provide Home Based Care for grannies (The Aged)
